We invite elementary, secondary, and university educators in any discipline to apply for the CSUWP Trauma-Informed Teaching Institute, which will begin in Summer 2023 and extend through the 2023-24 academic year. Using a community of practice model, we will take a humanizing approach during the institute by acknowledging the challenges associated with trauma without dwelling in darkness. You will learn practical classroom strategies, develop instructional materials for students, and acquire tools to support your own well-being. Together, we will promote healing, support post-traumatic growth, and move from individual and collective trauma into collective light.
