Young Writers Workshop
June 22-26, 2026 REGISTRATION DEADLINES: Oct. 2, 2025 deadline: $150 “Save Your Seat” rate (open only to students attending this summer’s workshops) Feb. 2, 2026 deadline: $175 “Early Bird” rate (open to any student) June 2, 2026 deadline: $200 regular rate (open to any student) "Save Your Seat" registration is now open for the 2026 CSUWP Young Writers Workshops at a reduced rate of $150. Please note: This rate is only available to students who participated in the 2025 workshops.
Students entering 4th-12th grade in the 2026-27 school year are invited to register for our summer creative writing workshops, which will be held on the CSU campus. In these highly popular immersive workshops, students will experiment with writing techniques in various genres, work in writing groups, learn from published writers, and more! The mission of CSUWP is to improve the teaching of writing by offering meaningful professional development for K-16 educators as well as innovative writing programs for youth writers.
